Southern Style Offroad Rock Sliders - 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma
Need to protect your Tacoma's rockers from rocks, trees, and parking lot door dings? The Southern Style Offroad rock sliders bolt to your frame rails and protect the lower body from impacts that would dent or tear your factory rocker panels. They're built from 3/16 inch wall structural square tubing with .120 wall round tube and a rear kick out so the slider extends past the rear door. The support legs are laser-cut from 3/16 inch thick steel and designed in CAD for solid mounting to the frame.
3/16 Inch Wall Tubing
The main slider tube is 3/16 inch wall structural square tubing, which is thick enough to take impacts without denting or bending. The round tube section is .120 wall thickness. These aren't decorative step bars. They're built to slide over rocks and take hits from trail obstacles without folding.
Rear Kick Out for Extended Coverage
The rear of the slider kicks out to extend coverage past the rear door. This protects the rear rocker panel and quarter panel area that often gets hit when you're sliding sideways over rocks or backing into tight spots on the trail.
Laser-Cut Support Legs
The support legs are CAD-designed and laser-cut from 3/16 inch thick steel. They bolt to the frame rails and support the slider tube. The laser cutting ensures clean fitment to the frame mounting points without gaps or misalignment.
Matte Black Powder Coat
The sliders come with a matte black powder coat finish that resists corrosion and holds up to rocks and brush scraping against the tubes. Powder coat's more durable than paint for this application.
