For GX470s Without Factory Towing Package

This hitch's designed for GX470s that didn't come with the factory towing package. If your GX already has a hitch from the factory, you don't need this. But if you bought a GX without the towing option and now you want to tow a trailer or run a hitch-mounted tire carrier, this gives you a clean bolt-on solution without fabricating brackets or drilling the frame.

5,000 Pound Towing Capacity

The hitch's rated for 5,000 pounds towing capacity and 500 pound tongue weight. That covers most small trailers, boat trailers, utility trailers, and hitch-mounted cargo carriers. It's not meant for heavy-duty towing, but for most people it's more than enough capacity.
