SSO Progress Update: Week Four - Gearing Up for Florida and Fine-Tuning Our Press Brake


Dear SSO Community,

As we dive into our Week Three update, I'm here to bring you the scoop on what's been happening and what we're looking forward to in the near future. We remain steadfast in our commitment to transparency and excellence in everything we do.

Dialing in Our Press Brake:

A press brake is a machine that bends sheet metal, and our CNC press brake brings digital precision to this process. We're currently calibrating this machine to perfect the production of our bumpers. This setup phase is critical to ensure each bumper is crafted to our exact standards, enabling us to ramp up production while maintaining the quality you expect from SSO. In the photos below, you can see the stage 2 wings in production. 

Heading to Florida:

The excitement is palpable as we gear up for a pivotal trip to Florida! A specialized team of three is prepping to oversee some of the first production runs of our bumpers. It's not just a trip—it's a mission to ensure quality and precision as we bring these products back to life. The products nearing the production phase include:

Community Engagement:

Engagement is more than a buzzword for us—it's a cornerstone of the new SSO brand. We've proactively contacted each customer about their orders. Our outreach has included emails, voicemails, and calls to everyone with an open order because your peace of mind is our priority. So Many Spreadsheets:

In the land of Excel, our business intelligence team has been in full swing, tackling the daunting task of sorting through old order data and product SKUs. The good news is that we're 90% through this massive clean-up effort. Soon, we'll start circulating emails to confirm the details of your orders and shipping addresses, so keep an eye on your inbox for those crucial updates.
